Victor, el gringo nuevo!
This is a pic of my co-worker who has just become a U.S. citizen. As you can see, he was given the official U.S. flag and cake. Unfortunaly, his citizenship was revoked shortly after when certain members of our company (who shall remain nameless) because he was caught descecrating 'Old Glory' by using the flag as a cape.
Btw, why is the U.S. flag called 'old glory' anyway? I don't think Robert E. Lee and his soldiers thought of it that way.
...And we do have a hard time living up to the ideal embodied by this flag. Alas, we are all too human.

Englewood Park
This park is located on the Hudson river, approx. 3 miles north of the George Washington bridge in New Jersey. 3 things in this park make it a NJ 'hidden gem' 1) the view 2) the water rapids hurtling 200' down the rocky Palisades toward the Hudson 3) the loosely cobbled path/stairway that winds its way up the steep, tree-laden face of the Palisades
