This is a pic of my co-worker who has just become a U.S. citizen. As you can see, he was given the official U.S. flag and cake. Unfortunaly, his citizenship was revoked shortly after when certain members of our company (who shall remain nameless) because he was caught descecrating 'Old Glory' by using the flag as a cape. Btw, why is the U.S. flag called 'old glory' anyway? I don't think Robert E. Lee and his soldiers thought of it that way.
...And we do have a hard time living up to the ideal embodied by this flag. Alas, we are all too human.
